NOTES: Really beautiful shot in an intimate space. Lots of zooms, but a good amount of wider shots too with a very limited (almost nonexistent) amount of heads. The lighting in this theater really liked my camera and I know the show almost “by heart” so I think I followed the action as well as possible. My battery died during the last song, but it starts at the very beginning with only one drop out during dialogue.

Bat Out Of Hell
West End - July 2017 | VOB (with smalls) | Goodweather
Andrew Polec (Strat), Christina Bennington (Raven), Rob Fowler (Falco), Sharon Sexton (Sloane), Aran MacRae (Tink), Danielle Steers (Zahara), Dom Hartley-Harris (Jagwire), Giovanni Spano (Ledoux).
NOTES: A strong capture of the full show, with wides, mediums, and closeups. There are no obstructions to the shot, apart from one head that occasionally gets in the way, but there is some wandering, a little spotlight washout (not too severe, however), and flickering at the 'floor lights'. Very stable footage which follows the action nicely. Plus, all the effects and stage tricks are included! Act Two is a little dark, although this is down to stage lighting more than camera settings. Due to the acoustics of the London Coliseum, the audio is a tiny bit muffled, but at a nice and steady volume. Includes glimpses of the curtain call. A-

NOTES: Nice HD stage shot from the center mezzanine, with a mostly unblocked view of the stage except for the top of a head at the bottom of the screen. Only known video of Troy as Michael and Cameron as Jake! Act One is full, but Act Two starts missing scenes after the Smartphone Hour and the master filled those in with audio from Cameron's debut as the SQUIP, with George Salazar as Michael, Joel as Heere, and Britton as Jake.

NOTES: Act 1 was filmed completely blind so some heads get cut off at times. 19.46GB uncompressed or 6.82GB compressed, in 2 mp4 files/2:04:27
TRADER’S NOTES: I only have the compressed version so I think this listing is more for personal reasons.

Off-West End - March 5, 2020 | MP4 (HD) | biTurret

NOTES: Shot from the third row of The Other Palace. View is occasionally crooked and moves around often as I try to get the whole stage in shot. Some audio and video missing because the recording corrupted--A non insignificant portion of the show is glitched and unwatchable unfortunately, but most songs are complete.

Beetlejuice
Broadway - March, 2019 (Preview) | MP4 (HD) | StarCuffedJeans
Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice), Sophia Anne Caruso (Lydia Deetz), Kerry Butler (Barbara Maitland), Rob McClure (Adam Maitland), Adam Dannheisser (Charles Deetz), Leslie Kritzer (Delia Deetz/Miss Argentina), Kelvin Moon Loh (Otho), Danny Rutigliano (Maxie Dean), Jill Abramovitz (Maxie Dean/Juno)
NOTES: Previews! This is probably my most obstructed bootleg ever. When I could get zooms they’re pretty (and I’m really trying my hardest for both Sophia and Kerry - “Dead Mom” looks GREAT and is really consistent), but I would probably consider this more like highlights with how many heads keep popping up. I don’t love it, but you can keep up with what is happening and see the WILD effects they have going on here...which is good enough for now. Video starts at “Ready, Set, Not Yet” and is complete from there. And honestly this video (and this show) is worth it just for “Dead Mom.”
Broadway - July, 2019 | MP4 (HD) | StarCuffedJeans

NOTES: Good HD capture from the right orchestra with beautiful zooms and way less obstructions than the March video. Please do not post screenshots of this video on Twitter ever. Gifs on Tumblr are okay after the NFT date, but don't go linking things to actors and shows.

NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of the incredible Presley Ryan as Lydia and David’s first week as Adam! Filmed from the left orchestra without obstructions with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. This is hands down the best video of the show to date. Starts about 3 minutes into performance (mid whole being dead thing).

NOTES: Workshop all staged on barebones sets. Very interesting changes from the eventual Broadway version, including a much different “All American Prophet” (a squaredancey number called “The Bible is a Trilogy, Too”) This version is far less polished and focused but incredibly interesting to see for fans of the show.

Andrew Rannells (Elder Price), Josh Gad (Elder Cunningham), Nikki M James (Nabulungi), Rory O’Malley (Elder McKinley), Michael Potts (Mafala Hatimbi), Lewis Cleale (Mission President)
NOTES: A nice capture of this hilarious original show. A very solid and funny cast. Nikki does a fantastic job acting and vocally. On wide shots there can be heads on the sides, but nothing that really obstructs the action. During Broadway previews, less than a month before the official premiere. So there are differences from the Cast Recording. Very nice video of the show however a bar can be visible in wide shots but it doesn't interfere with anything.

Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray), Mark Salling (Puck), Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), Heather Morris (Brittany Pierce)
TRADER’S NOTES: Compilation of songs edited together, probably all filmed by different people as the camera angle changes every time a new song starts. Doesn’t include any of the dialogue or pre-filmed videos that were shown over screens around the stage.
First National Tour (Rosemont, IL) - May 25, 2010 | VOB (with smalls) (SD)
Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray), Mark Salling (Puck), Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), Heather Morris (Brittany Pierce)
TRADER’S NOTES: Nice video of the full show with a fair amount of dropouts but never during songs; the master switches between filming the stage and one of the screens, depending on what’s happening. Judging by the layout of the DVD menu and the way the video is shot the master is probably SunsetBlvd79. Content Warning: There’s a graphic PETA poster at the end of the DVD menu. (The poster is on screen from 00:20 until 00:26 when the main video starts.)

Andy Karl (Phil Connors), Barrett Doss (Rita Hanson), Rebecca Faulkenberry (Nancy), John Sanders (Ned Ryerson), Raymond J Lee (Ralph), Andrew Call (Gus), Josh Lamon (Buster), Gerard Canonico (Fred), Heather Ayers (Mrs. Lancaster), William Parry (Jenson), Michael Fatica (Chubby Man), Travis Waldschmidt (Jeff), Joseph Medeiros (Deputy), Taylor Iman Jones (Lady Storm Chaser), Rheaume Crenshaw (Doris), Sean Montgomery (Sheriff), Jenna Rubaii (Joelle), Tari Kelly (Piano Teacher), Vishal Vaidya (Larry), Katy Geraghty (Debbie)
NOTES: Excellent HD capture of the new musical based on the movie. Such an amazing set and Andy gives a terrific performance. The set malfunctioned once and they had to pause and restart the song.

Hadestown
Broadway - March, 2019 (Preview) | MP4 (HD) | StarCuffedJeans
Reeve Carney (Orpheus), Eva Noblezada (Eurydice), Patrick Page (Hades), Amber Gray (Persephone), André De Shields (Hermes), Jewelle Blackman (Fate), Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer (Fate), Kay Trinidad (Fate), Afra Hines, Ahmad Simmons, John Krause, Kimberly Marable, Timothy Hughes
Notes: Previews! Picks up after "Road to Hell." Decent capture with a lot of beautiful zooms, two really annoying heads, and a drop out occasionally but never for long (For the first time in my mastering career I kept putting the camera down after musical numbers because I couldn't NOT clap). This was my first time seeing the show and hearing this music so I was sometimes focused on the wrong things. Oh well. Overall, I love this video. I got home at 2AM after filming it and just SOBBED while I rewatched some of my favorite moments. WHAT A SHOW.!

Broadway - January, 2020 | MP4 (HD) | everyturnandtwist
Reeve Carney (Orpheus), Eva Noblezada (Eurydice), Patrick Page (Hades), Amber Gray (Persephone), André De Shields (Hermes), Jewelle Blackman (Fate), Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer (Fate), Kay Trinidad (Fate)
NOTES: Shot from the front mezzanine, front of stage action is captured great from between the bar. The bar obstructs a bit when performers are on the upper levels of the stage but overall very watchable. Capture includes the entire show, including partial curtain call (missing We Raise Our Cups). With my other master, you can get a great visual of the entirety of the show's beautiful choreography and staging.

Hamilton
Broadway - June 19, 2016 | VOB (with smalls) | SJ Bernly
Javier Muñoz (alt Alexander Hamilton), Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton), Leslie Odom Jr (Aaron Burr), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler), Nicholas Christopher (u/s George Washington), Daveed Diggs (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Andrew Chappelle (u/s John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Alysha Deslorieux (s/b Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rory O’Malley (King George III)
NOTES: Javier is fantastic in the lead role; he’s very different from Lin - a bit darker, more intense, and less care-free, but just as passionate. The understudies are great as well, but Andrew is the stand-out; his nuanced performance as Philip is heartbreaking. Seeing the show with so many new faces proves that it has legs beyond the original cast and will continue to be a hit. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans. This is the correct date for the low quality video labeled as June 16, 2016.

Broadway - August 13, 2016 | VOB (with smalls) | SJ Bernly
Javier Muñoz (Alexander Hamilton), Lexi Lawson (Eliza Hamilton), Sydney Harcourt (u/s Aaron Burr), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler), Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Andrew Chappelle (u/s Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Ephraim Sykes (u/s Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Anthony Ramos (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rory O’Malley (King George III), Roddy Kennedy (u/s James Reynolds/Philip Schuyler/Doctor), Thayne Jasperson (Samuel Seabury), Neil Haskell (Charles Lee), David Guzman (u/s George Eacker)
NOTES: More new performers captured in this phenomenal show. Lexi is lovely as Eliza and makes the role her own. Standout understudies were Sydney and Andrew - both give fantastic performances as Burr and Lafayette/Jefferson. My best capture of this show to date. It’s fully captured with no washouts and no blackouts, just a couple very quick dropouts between scenes. There are a couple heads that can be seen occasionally, but they are worked around and don’t obstruct the action. It's filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Chicago - October 2, 2016 | VOB (with smalls) (SD) | SunsetBlvd79

NOTES: Stunning capture of the Chicago company and Joseph's first performance as Hamilton. Such a talented and wonderful cast. Ari and Karen just blew my mind with perfection! A+

First National Tour (Angelica) - August 12, 2017 (Matinee) | VOB (with smalls) (SD) | SJ Bernly
Michael Luwoye (Alexander Hamilton), Solea Pfeiffer (Eliza Hamilton), Joshua Henry (Aaron Burr), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Angelica Schuyler), Isaiah Johnson (George Washington), Jordan Donica (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Mathenee Treco (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Ruben J Carbajal (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Amber Iman (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rory O’Malley (King George III), Ryan Vasquez (James Reynolds/Philip Schuyler/Doctor), Andrew Wojtal (Samuel Seabury), Daniel Ching (Charles Lee), Raymond Baynard (George Eacker), Jennifer Geller (The Bullet), Afra Hines, Dan Belnavis, Jeffery Duffy, Lauren Kias, Raven Thomas, Sabrina Imamura
NOTES: An absolutely stellar tour cast with fantastic performances all around. Some great nuanced interpretations of the characters make the show fresh. This capture is nearly perfect with just one dropout toward the end of My Shot that lasts less than a minute. There is one head that occasionally blocks the actors’ legs on the right side of the stage. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent.

First National Tour (Angelica) - September, 2019 | MP4 (HD) | StarCuffedJeans
Edred Utomi (Alexander Hamilton), Zoe Jensen (Eliza Hamilton), Josh Tower (Aaron Burr), Cherry Torres (u/s Angelica Schuyler), Paul Oakley Stovall (George Washington), Bryson Bruce (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Chaundre Hall-Broomfield (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Jon Viktor Corpuz (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Olivia Puckett (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Peter Matthew Smith (King George III), Will T Travis (James Reynolds/Philip Schuyler/Doctor), Patrick Garr (Samuel Seabury), Robbie Nicholson (Charles Lee), Avery Sobczak (s/w George Eacker)
NOTES: A lovely, complete HD capture of the Angelica Tour cast! This video is slightly obstructed by the front mezzanine bar, but is worked around. Includes highlights running thirty minutes long of the same performance (shot with another camera) that include The Schuyler Sisters, Farmer Refuted, A Winter's Ball, Helpless, Satisfied, That Would Be Enough, Take a Break, Say No to This, The Reynolds Pamphlet, Burn, and ends at Stay Alive Reprise, focusing mostly on Zoe Jensen, Cherry Torres, Olivia Puckett, and Patrick Garr. Does not include highlights mentioned in the notes.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Broadway - May, 2019 | MP4 (both parts) | StarCuffedJeans
James Snyder (Harry Potter), Matt Mueller (Ron Weasley), Jenny Jules (Hermione Granger), Diane Davis (Ginny Potter), Jonno Roberts (Draco Malfoy), Nicholas Podany (Albus Severus Potter), Bubba Weiler (Scorpius Malfoy), Nadia Brown (Rose Granger-Weasley/Young Hermione), Sara Farb (Delphi Diggory), Lauren Cipoletti (Moaning Myrtle/Lily Potter Sr.), Katherine Reis (Polly Chapman), Stephen Spinella (Uncle Dursley/Severus Snape/Lord Voldemort), Jonathan Gordon (Yann Fredericks), Fiona Reid (Aunt Petunia/Trolley Witch/Dolores Umbridge), Joey Labrasca (Dudley Dursley/Karl Jenkins/Viktor Krum), Jack Pravda (Young Harry Potter), Catherine Ashmore Bradley (Lily Potter Jr.), Patrick du Laney (Station Master)
NOTES: Great HD of the Year Two Broadway cast starting with the infamously ridiculous toffee scene. This was taken from one of the boxes so there is railing obstruction on the right of the stage, however most of the main action occurs at center and is brilliantly captured.

NOTES: A near perfect capture and the first known DVD of this show’s Off-Broadway run. Barrett is incredibly talented: amazing vocals, acting and comedic timing. Dan and Charissa are both fantastic in their roles as well. The show is absolutely hysterical, much improved from the movie version. The first minute of Act One is blacked out, but the show is otherwise fully intact with no blackouts and only slight washout in a few wide shots. There is no obstruction, the video is steady, the sound is excellent, and it’s captured very well with the usual mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. It’s filmed in 16:9 and includes curtain call, encore, and playbill scans.

NOTES: Slightly shaky in a few parts, but nothing too bad. Act Two does not have a lot of close-ups and mostly mid-stage shots with no whiteouts; a total of about 4 minutes of blackouts throughout the show; great sound and good video. A- 2 DVDs

Second Broadway Revival - January 11, 2012 | VOB (with smalls) | SunsetBlvd79
Darren Criss (J. Pierrepont Finch), Beau Bridges (J.B. Biggley), Rose Hemingway (Rosemary Pilkington), Tammy Blanchard (Hedy La Rue), Christopher Hanke (Bud Frump), Rob Bartlett (Mr. Twimble), Mary Faber (Smitty), Ellen Harvey (Miss Jones), Michael Park (Bert Bratt)
NOTES: Excellent capture of Darren's three week stint with the show. Tons of excitement from the audience which made the cast sparkle even more. Show is top shape and Darren is charming as one would expect!
